It`s funny when government official blames opposition forces for Wildberries restrictions on Armenian producers - observer
ArmInfo. It's at least funny when a government official claims that opposition forces are behind the introduction of restrictions on Armenian producers under the Wildberries program. Political observer Hakob Badalyan writes about this on his Facebook page.
"That is, the opposition forces have succeeded in introducing such restrictions. On the one hand, this is, of course, funny, but on the other, it is simply sad and alarming for several reasons. Firstly, it once again demonstrates the ruling authorities' disdainful and indifferent attitude toward the common sense and intellectual capacity of their own audiences. Furthermore, it demonstrates the effectiveness of this ruling authorities in reality. Because if the opposition is capable of creating problems for one country's businessmen within the system of large companies in another country, this means that that country does not have a functioning government. Conversely, if governments operate effectively and responsibly, efficiently and competently, no opposition in any other country can create problems for the Armenian economy. And this is true in virtually all countries," noted Hakob Badalyan.
He added that, for example, the German opposition will not be able to create problems for a German business entity in Indonesia or the United States if the country has a functioning government. Another point is that it is precisely the functioning government, as a result of its poor performance and incompetence, that creates these problems for its business structure. "And one more thing: the goal of this 'logic' is a manipulative propaganda effect, so that various businesses and producers, so to speak, become unfriendly toward opposition forces. This effectively means that the ruling authorities are also violating the presumption of common sense among businesses and producers," he wrote.
Recall that RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan previously wrote that two Armenian opposition forces were behind the recent incident involving Wildberries.
It should be noted that Armenian media and social media outlets have reported that sales of Armenian products on Wildberries and Ozon have been suspended. Wildberries-Armenia's press service stated that the situation is related to the application of additional control procedures for certain categories of goods in the Russian Federation as part of customs clearance. The company noted that it is in constant dialogue with partners and relevant authorities and is closely monitoring the situation. As part of this work, a meeting was organized with Armenian retailers, attended by over 50 entrepreneurs. Wildberries representatives discussed emerging issues with partners, listened to proposals, and continue to jointly develop possible solutions.
