Sandstrom Vs Lindenmuth Now For The WBA Interim Title

The fight between flyweights Australian-Swedish Linn Sandstrom (12-4-3) and American Katherine Lindenmuth (8-5 according to the WBA or 7-5-0-1 if you go by BoxRec) May 16 in Brondby (Denmark) is now upgraded to a fight for the WBA Interim title.

WBA champ Gabriela Fundora, who also holds the WBC, WBO and IBF titles.

Lindenmuth, who holds the WBA Gold title, is ranked number two by the WBA at super flyweight while Sandstrom is ranked # 2 at flyweight and also holds the WBA Gold title.

The show at the Brondby Hall is staged by Primetime Promotions while Sandstrom vs Lindenmuth is put on by “Team Sandstrom”.

Headlining the Primetime part is super feather Ahmad El Ahmad (11-0) against an opponent to be announced for the vacant WBA Baltic title and a heavyweight fight between Gustav Thorsen (7-0) and Englishman Harvey Dykes (7-0-1).
