Top-seeded Navy reaches Patriot League semis with 13th straight win, but it doesn’t come easy
Navy hasn’t appeared in the NCAA men’s basketball championship tournament since 1998. The Midshipmen might never have a better chance to end that drought. They won the Patriot League regular season going away, though their first conference tournament game provided peril. Playing at home in Annapolis, Maryland, they won 74-69 Thursday night by escaping an upset bid from the eighth-seeded Bucknell Bison in a Patriot League quarterfinal.
