Head of Armenian company admits to evading AMD 413 million in taxes

YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. The head of the Armenian company P.F. LLC, which trades in coffee, vegetable oil, pasta and other food products, admitted to evading VAT and income tax totaling about AMD 413 million ($1 million) and fully restored the amount of unpaid tax and accrued fines after the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the matter.br/pp
According to the Investigative Committee, in a bid to cut the amount of taxes to be paid the company's top managers hid the real turnover of the company in the amount of over AMD 1.1 billion (about $2.75 million) from January 2021 to August 2022, would not issue tax invoices and cash register receipts and indicated distorted data in the reports submitted to the tax authorities.--0-/pp/p
