More about Haiwaan
Oppam, the original 2016 film, followed the story of a blind man played by Mohanlal. Mohanlal's character ends up becoming the sole witness to a brutal murder, and he ends up being responsible for taking care of and protecting a young girl from a dangerous killer. In the Hindi remake of the movie, Haiwaan, Saif will be the one playing this hard and challenging role. Excitingly enough, it was revealed that Mohanlal will be making a special cameo appearance in the Hindi version of the film as well. He said in an interview, ""If you're asking me about Haiwaan, Mohanlal is in that film. However, what character he plays, I don't want to say right now. See, every time I make a movie, it is the story that excites me. I never think about actors."
